The University of Waterloo is hosting Digital Dilemmas Colloquium: Transforming gender identities and power relations in everyday life on August 5th -6th. Unfortunately this falls during the APA convention (super sad to be missing this), but for those of you who aren’t Denver-bound it looks like an awesome two days.
The three broad themes (digital dilemmas) of the discussions will be:
- How do virtual voices influence issues at the intersection of gender and (in)justice?
- How do innovative methodologies enable new insights into the social transformation of gender relations, digital cultures, and social justice?
- How is digital technology shaping relationships between diverse citizens, communities and policy makers in the context of gender equity?

PS. If you do go, take copious notes – and I do mean a ridiculous amount of very detailed notes – and bring them back for the rest of us! Thanks! 🙂
